Don't typically write reviews, but I'm so pleased.

Backstory: I have a very heavy wooden roll up garage door from the 40's. The old springs had lost their tension and it was always struggle to get the door up. Finally one of the springs snapped. I followed online instructions to weigh the door and ordered new springs. Frustrating! The 120lb springs were so weak it was still a struggle to get the door up, and once let go, it would roll partially back down. So I ordered stronger springs, and had the opposite problem! Went up easily, but was hard to close, and once down would partially raise again. I decided to try a garage door opener, the door is so heavy, I wasn't very optimistic. I started by looking for used ones, but I soon discovered I could get this one for only $60.00 more, and I could return it if it didn't work. It took a full day to install, as my 1949 garage was an odd size I had to cut the door a little and still install the power-head so high it's almost touching ceiling. The instructions were mostly clear, I just took my time. The remote and keypad instructions were clear and actually worked! The moment of truth! I'll be darned, the unit powered the door up without struggle. The remotes work flawlessly, the safety beam stops the door, everything worked, right out of the box. Recommend!

Pros
