This is the second (and last) Mitutoyo purchase I will make. I sent him back the first item because apparently the company had changed the design of the tool and it wasn't as advertised. This dial looks really nice and I was thrilled to find the 18" 5R dial, but the 64" mark was a full 32" in an inch from the end of the dial. That's too far off for a $38 line (IMHO). I was expecting better quality control. I have ordered another General Tools scale from Revain. It's only 12 inches, but at least I can be sure it's accurate. I have a cheap "nameless" scale that is constant - end to end - so I'm not sure what happened to Mitutoyo.
