Review on Sony RM-AV2 📷 Remote Controller for Sony Camcorders by Amy Young

Ordered this from AMAZON earlier this week along with the SONY GP-AVT1 grip for our SONY camcorder. My wife loves the grip, she says it's pretty much all she needs for more stable handheld shooting. I prefer using a tripod with a moving head and have found that using the controls on the camera can result in unwanted video movement. SONY RM-AV2 solves this problem perfectly. Connection to the camcorder is via a proprietary connection that is reliable and secure, and so far there have been no unwanted cable connection movements. The fluid head clamp is very secure and the cable is more than adequate for my needs. Even enough to allow other installation options. minuses? The controls themselves could be made larger to work more smoothly. But for a consumer product, especially at an attractive price point, I don't think you will find a better SONY camcorder if you enjoy tripod photography.
