I've only been crocheting for 5 years and I'm still learning. One of my most important lessons is that a good hook is essential. How long can you crochet in one session, how much stress does repetitive activity put on your body, how comfortable does crocheting make you feel. It's all about the hook! The addi hooks are very comfortable, whether you hold the hook like a pencil or a knife, their design fits your hand perfectly. In addition, the yarn flies off the hook; Your method of working stainless steel is incomprehensible and unlike any other hooks I have used. (My only plastic Clover hook is nearby.) I'll admit that I sometimes get my yarn slipping when I pick up my rhythm a little just because of the finish and how easily the yarn slides off the hook. I love the ergonomic plastic handle. My only complaint about these hooks is that they don't come in sizes larger than an 8.0. hook mm. All my thick/bulky yarn projects are sad because I can't use addi hooks. Maybe sometime. If you understand that the hook is an extension of the knitter, then the hook you use is very individual. I would suggest buying one of the addi hooks separately to make sure you like the way they fit in your hand. I tried 5.5mm as an entry hook and wanted a full set within minutes of using the hook. I recommend these crochet works to all my crochet friends. You are a real treat.
