We just got this in the mail and used it right away! We tried both the pan and the punches. We found the pan to be easier to use, but when you want to make big, hearty ravioli, it's good to have multiple cutter sizes. The rolling pin is the new favorite. Much easier than our standard rolling pin. We used the pasta machine on a stand mixer to "roll out" the dough to the desired thickness, but you can easily do it by hand. Stuffed pasta definitely takes a long time to prepare, so it helps. We are already planning what we will do next time.
