These large brown bags with handles are oversized and look like large (but not huge) tote bags I would buy at a department store or something nicer version of the brown bags from the grocery store. The paper is strong and thick, with a smooth, clear surface that looks beautiful and does not wrinkle. These are really good polybags, suitable for large boxes, odd shaped items, or lots of small items. However, they are not reinforced at the bottom, so they are not suitable for heavy objects. But so far they have been strong enough for my needs. They are solid brown but look fresh and pretty so they can be used "as is" as gift bags or personalized with lettering and/or embellished in a variety of ways. These bags are also perfect for everyday use. I've used them to wrap things I'm giving away to family members or friends. I filled them with items that I send (or leave) home with family members, such as prepared meals or leftovers, homemade bread and other groceries, clothing, and personal items. They've come in handy many times when I've usually struggled to find a good way to pack for the road. Like a lot. 4.5 stars.
