This was perfect for our trip to France. We've had no problems with it, and it's always been used with a variety of different devices: iPhones, iPhone portable chargers, hair straighteners, and Kindles. We ended up bringing two (the other was another brand my mom found online) for four people. With so many devices we had we should have brought more USB plugs, but luckily my mom brought her own 4 USB plugs for our Lightning cables. So everything ended well. I have NOT used this with a hair dryer as our Airbnb provided one. But other reviews said it works well with a hair dryer.
