Excellent lock. The husband assembled it without even looking at the instructions, but accordingly didn't adjust it to open on the right side! The instructions clearly show a small switch that needs to be moved depending on which side of the door you are installing. This was a very simple fix and it was complete user error on our part. The app on my phone made it easy for me to enter access numbers for family members and we also used the fingerprint scanner to add fingerprints for everyone. Since there are so many fingerprints each person is allowed to take 3 to ensure a high first time success rate as many sources suggest - not specific to this entity. The family entered easily with fingerprints and numbers. I love that the app lets me set up one-time access or remove access. After many repairs, it's great not to have to hand over the key and then hope it hasn't been duplicated! The device looks very nice on our door. Our house is more rustic so I was worried it would look modern but when I paired it with a color matching wave style doorknob it looked great. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it.
