I hate it. i hate i hate i hate I bought it after the first night in a new apartment when my dog wouldn't stop barking at everyone who passed by (the apartment was a student house so people often walked by at night too). I was desperate and thought someone would report us. I had the lowest settings and my dog squeaked like someone hit him. Then he would whimper because he was scared and it would continue to shock him and it was this horrible cycle where he kept running to the bathroom thinking something in the apartment was trying to get to him. The whole time I'm SCREAMING and trying to take the damn thing off and when he finally stops talking and I undo the buckle he's electrocuted AGAIN. I really wanted to think the "vibrations" would be amazing, but this junk isn't covered in sugar. It's a SHOCK collar and its training is fear based (so it's nonsense at first). I called my local animal shelter and spoke to a trainer after that night, and with POSITIVE workouts and loads of treats every time someone came to the door, we were in a good spot. He's still cold and growls occasionally, but no longer barks. Do your dog a favor and invest in a trainer, not this bullshit.
