Will not link to 2020 Subaru Forester
Great replacement receiver for my older, non-encoded Genie unit but despite assurances to the contrary, this item will not link up with my 2020 Forester's Homelink system.
I tried all recommended procedures dozens of times and they simply do not talk to each other. I don't want to go through the return process and try a different receiver only to get the same results so I'm abandoning the Homelink idea and just keeping the remote in my car.
