MAHLE Original Fuel filter KL 147D I have a 2002 Jetta Wagon TDI. I will note that this filter seems a bit heavier than other brands I have installed in the past. No idea why, but it seems to be working fine. I will note that there is no marking on the top of the filter to show fuel flow in or out like many of my other fuel filters that I have purchased. As you know they often change the design and produce them on different plans (assembly lines) so some may have markings but only this one doesn't. *** If you have never changed the fuel filter, there is one thing. You must know about it! *** If you have never changed the fuel filter, it is highly recommended that you purchase a fuel line clamp. Not a condition, just a recommendation. I didn't have a clamp handy, but I changed the fuel filter anyway. It was a bit messy and the engine took a little longer to pump fuel through the fuel filter to the engine so I won't be in such a hurry next time. I usually just squeeze the hose that goes to the filter and it doesn't take long before I have fuel pumped through the filter to the engine.
