Good quality product. It takes forever and then a little longer to get it ready before use (fill with diesel to avoid air getting into the fuel lines). The car it was used in is a 2001 VW Golf TDI. It's been running like a champ since I changed it.

This fuel filter fits my 2005 TDi perfectly and is easy to fit. My only concern is that you might think that this manufacturer would consider including a locking pin for the inlet pipe with a filter. I was able to restore the original but would like a replacement clip.

Just right for a 2002 Jetta TDI I was expecting there might be a replacement o-ring for the clip held intake but there was none. I don't think fuel line clamps are needed. As I saw in an online video it should work fine with the lines pointing up so you don't lose fuel and you fill the filter with fuel before reinstalling. In my case, it was noticed right away and I didn't even notice the hiccups. I was lucky that I had a can of petrol for it.

No idea why, but it seems to be working fine. I will note that there is no marking on the top of the filter to show fuel flow in or out like many of my other fuel filters that I have purchased.
