This remote control is a replacement Samsung remote, not an original Samsung remote. However, it works exactly as expected. Looks almost the same as the original. I have attached photos of this remote and the OEM. The two real differences are the branding and the feel of the remote in your hand. Neither affects the functionality of the remote control. The clone is so similar that the original remote's battery cover is a replacement. There is a review that there is no manual for this remote control and that is true. My experience was that I took it out of the box, put in batteries (not included), pointed it at the TV and it worked. No instructions or settings required.
