I have made many of these snap hook sets. I choose these "sizes" brands because of the printed canvas. The kits are pretty good but as others have said they almost always give too much of one color and not enough of another. They also sometimes cut part of the yarn too short! I save leftover yarn from other kits to fill in when this happens. Another problem is that the canvas is difficult to handle when you take it out of the box and it tears leaving a hole or two. I started ironing the canvas with a towel between the iron and the canvas. This helped a lot and the yarn goes through the canvas much easier. Makes it smoother. I like the size kits and I think they're pretty good overall. If you want an even better kit with silkier yarns and lighter canvas that can still be printed, buy the Latchkits brand. I first started making these sets and they are especially good for younger children. They are also ready to hang when finished.
