Review on POWERTEC 13104X Blade 2 Inch 8 Inch: Premium Cutting Tool for Precision and Efficiency by Luis Despain

I finally ripped the tape on my saw and installed this saw blade. I wanted to try this brand to see how good the Powertec blades compare to the brand I use. Big disappointment. I've been cutting thin (1/8 inch) hardwoods and immediately found that I had to use more force to make the cut. The blade is blunt right out of the box. Yes it was sharp, but the force required to cut thin wood is a good indicator of sharpness. Blunt tools cause more accidents than sharp tools due to the operator using too much force so I have to give this blade one star for safety reasons..I have replaced this blade in my saw and will not be ordering from this supplier again in the future.
