This adapter fits the drill motor which I have not used.
This adapter fits the drill motor I removed from an old drill that had a broken start switch. The adapter allowed me to connect a motor to a 5/8" 11TPI flare nut to spin a gear with a 5/8" hole in a DIY project. I added a set screw to the hex to prevent the adapter from unscrewing from the drill motor.
