This was my first experience with a cleaver knife and it has become my favorite in the kitchen. I've used chef's knives before, so initially that was a big difference. The blade is quite thick but feels normal, not too big and heavy, and the handle feels good in hand. It came in handy for chopping garlic. I love picking vegetables and putting them in containers or pots. The blade proved to be quite sharp and after more than regular use for a month or two I was sharpening it again when I noticed that it wasn't cutting. Returned to the beautiful edge. The original is pretty lucky too.
