3 stars because SOMETHING worked. But not in the desired amount I was hoping for and that left a few problems that I had to fix with cutting sealant. I bought this product because I really like Adams Polish products in general. I had to remove some iron deposits from the paint on my Ford Powerstroke because I was working on something nearby and I suspect the metal particles landed on the paint and got stuck. I had to remove them anyway as they left a slight bluish tint from iron oxide on certain areas of the paintwork that had been exposed to metal particles and brake disc material while riding. So I decided that Adam's Iron Decon would be perfect for this task. For the most part he worked on most of the problem areas on the paint. But there were some spots I applied twice that weren't completely removed so I touched up some spots with some light cutting paste and that fixed the problem. But I must warn you that even if you apply Iron Decon in a cool, shady area and the color is cool to the touch, even after rinsing I noticed that it tints my black paint and almost looks like it has a clear coat to one smoky finish and left stain streaks even after 3-5 minutes exposure time, thorough rinsing and repeated hand washing. I ended up having to blend these areas because of the remaining stains. There is a possibility that it is some kind of user error as other areas have not had this problem. This may only be an issue with darker paint colors, but use caution nonetheless. Also, DO NOT APPLY UNDER DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR ONTO HOT PAINT (You will get the same color effect on darker colors if you don't follow the directions).
