Review on GEARWRENCH Drive Polish Teardrop Ratchet by Shahed Cleveland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautifully shaped ratchets.

I have to say I'm a big fan of the latest generation Gearwrench. The previous generation seemed to have a few issues here and there, but in my short-term experience they seem to have been ironed out. Of course I won't really have a REAL rating for them until after 5 or 10 years in this equation. Because let's face it, decent tools should last decades, if not forever, with good care. Or damn near. Having only done one job with them (on a Kia, no less), I can't say where they will be in a decade. Whatever you say about the Craftsman, my ratchets are over a decade old and still work like new. Accept it for what it's worth. So for now it's a solid 5 stars. I have no complaints, questions, etc. to discuss. If I'm unlucky over the next few months and years I'll stop here and report in full if I can. But now they look pretty good and I recommend them if you are looking for a good basic set of ratchets. If you feel you need a little more choice, check out the Ultimate Ratchet set. It starts where this ends.
