Review on Drill with Precision: PowerTough 15Pcs Plastic Drill Bits for Ultimate Performance by Robert Oner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I should have bought these years ago

I have many tools, both for woodwork and metalwork, but for some reason I have never bought nozzles with a pointed tip. I wish I had a few projects where the holes I had to drill required great precision, but so far I haven't had time to buy a set. The beauty of a pointed chisel is that it doesn't walk or roll, so the hole you drill ends up right where you wanted it. Make your mark, place the drill on that mark, and you're done. Trying to align the center of a high-speed drill with the mark is very difficult and it's easy to deviate from 32 or more, but it's easy with a straight-tipped drill. The bits cut well in both hard and soft wood and take the guesswork out of it. If you plan on doing any woodwork that involves drilling holes, do yourself a favor and get one. You will not regret it.
