Review on πŸ”§ Liyafy 2.0mm 250g Rosin Core Flux 60/40 Solder Wire Reel for Electrical Repair and DIY Projects with Soldering Iron by Ken Kowal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't use it for anything important. Use it in glorious abundance.

Let's face it, this Chinese solder is TERRIBLE. Inconsistent smelting, slightly oversized, doubtful 60/40 and made from a traceless number of imprisoned Uyghurs. It's good for one thing and exceptional at it: turn the iron all the way around and toss half a roll into something at a time. Whether it's splicing 4AWG wires that really need crimping, merging bus bars to comply with electrical codes, or reshaping hoverboard 18650 batteries, use this solder for non-sensitive applications that require extreme amounts of low-temperature melting metal alloys to connect everything. . I have an 80w and a 300w soldering iron that these reels live with exclusively.

Pros
  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • It's OK
