I didn't give much thought to how some people do it, but I was looking for ratchet mounts to use on my truck while driving. Most of the other product reviews had people with frayed and broken straps. They were of very good quality. The straps were soft but held me up with no signs of wear. They are very easy to put on and take off. The double J hooks and higher load capacity were a plus compared to other popular brands, they were just harder to find as they don't make it to the top of the recommendations when searching. In 5 trips nothing has come loose or shifted or scratched my furniture during use.
