Probably hard wearing but look at the picture I posted. I just tied a corner of my ATV to the trailer. He collapsed on the track. 3000 pounds? My quad weighs about 600 pounds. Unfortunately it's been 20 days since I got back so I'm screwed.

I've been using them for about a month. In 3 different cases the ratchets failed. Somehow the latches unlocked and opened, allowing the straps to come loose. Luckily I saw the straps slam shut before the weights came off! Upon closer inspection, the ratchets are poorly assembled and very loose. They wobble and slide past the gearbox.

Great value for money - I am a veteran beekeeper who has been using this type of mount for 30 years. I still use one of these to keep my travel box closed. Please take into account all the loads on your cargo during the journey. Stop after 2-5 miles, pull up and rate. I use waxed cardboard (from the grocery section of the grocery store) on the sharp edges of beehives. Protects nylon from abrasion. SUCCESSFUL TRANSPORT!

Excellent belts. They are a good length and feel very heavy for their size. One of the straps that came in my package had the strap weave reversed when I received it. I still use it but I just don't trust it like others. This strap is the only thing that stopped me from giving this 5 stars. I didn't give much thought to how some people do it, but I was looking for ratchet mounts to use on my truck while driving. Most of the other product reviews had people with frayed and broken straps. This really should be one of your first purchases when buying a truck. I can't tell you how many times I've used these straps. They work really well and are very practical. Remember this is not a 3 inch strap. I would recommend 3 inch straps for heavier items and longer distances. Bought these straps in early 2017. Since then I've been using them a lot and haven't had any problems. When not in use they are stored in the side crate of my truck. During use, they were exposed to the rain and Florida sun most of the time. They are used to keep my tractor's wing juxtaposed during transport. Arrived yesterday and already with these ratchet straps. The quality is good, they work well. My only caveat is the 1 1/2 inch webbing is not top quality, a bit thinner than I expected. The braid is also imperfect in some places. I understand that the price pressure on these products is extremely high and excellence costs more. I've used them a few times to haul lumber and plywood on my trailer and they work well. They have an all-metal ratchet, wide, durable straps, and are easily adjustable. Four stars (would give 4 1/2) just for the hook. It's rubber coated metal and feels very durable, but I wish it was a little more curved. I have large attachment points and they work well when the strap is taut, but it's a bit difficult to keep it hooked when you go to the other side of the trailer to hook the ratchet end. Maybe

First ride on our new trailer and Cam Am quad tied to our toy trailer.
