This will replace the engine in the Black & Decker Matrix!
I took a chance and bought this motor to replace the matrix that burned out in my grip. The hardest part was removing the drive/drive adapter from the old motor without damaging the adapter. Some strategic hitting and heating up with a driving punch of the right size worked. Notice how far it is from the motor housing. (Removal completely destroyed the old motor) Use a bearing/arbor press to mount the adapter to the new motor. Make sure the shaft is vertical and push the adapter/actuator to the correct height.
- PLEASE NOTE: If you are replacing a motor, make sure the motor matches your dimensions, length and shaft diameter before purchasing.
