This is a very well made bubbler cap. I have two of these and use them regularly. Work with 1 or 2 liter soda bottles. Tip 1. I suggest connecting a short (a few inches, almost to the bottom of the bottle) transparent hose to the barbed inner fitting to inject gas directly into your drink. see drawing. Tip 2: Use a check valve to protect the regulator from backflow in case your pressurized, sticky drink gets into the hose. Tip 3: After filling with gas, the carbonation will be much better if you at least let the bottle rest. 20-30 minutes before opening. Open slowly. Update 2020: An overnight rest is even better for gentle carbonation (the extra time allows more CO2 to diffuse into the drink).
