just got a replacement (Amen to Revane!) I haven't even used it to work on my custom cars (it sat in my bedroom and sometimes in my pajamas!) and a stitch (on the back, no less!) fully open by 7", along with the next seam partially, also by 7"! It opened up like a perforation on a sheet of stamps! Really good fit, way below poor quality vinyl. Especially for so much money! If it were made from the right materials, it would be the best chair in the world! Great looks, nice design, solid construction. Bad material? For real? Why stop there? If I hadn't paid so much for it I would have taken it to an upholstery shop and had it refinished with real vinyl, it's so cute. But seeing me sitting on it in my bedroom maybe 20 times? ok guys You can do better. The better the vinyl, the more for $2 a yard? I really hope the next one is better! Because good as it is, what good is it if it doesn't last more than a few months, even in a much milder environment than its intended use? He turns into a bad piece of junk, that's what! Manufactured by Traxon. Wake up and smell the exhaust! You're dealing with car enthusiasts who are willing to spend a little more for the finer things in life, who don't mind spending it on the good things. Just check out Snap On! Do you want to last that long? .then give people what they pay for. In this crowd, if not, then it will not be! *** To update. I just got a replacement. I wish I had taken a picture before packing it to go back! Looks like a new employee in China has been practicing sewing! Terribly crooked and tight seams! This one is back too! Tried calling the manufacturer. Tried customer service, got the record. Same 2 more calls. once for the operator and once for sales! The same story! I guess they get a lot of calls like me and just don't want to deal with it. Just really bad business sense across the board. Thanks Revane for doing this for me. You are great even if some of the suppliers you deal with are not! traction? Spend $5 more for quality stuff. (And hire another sweatshop to do the work! lol) It won't hurt the big profits you make for this place! And everyone's scolding our president for trying to bring production home? You better wake up and smell your coffee!
