The photos in the ad looked promising and the product description was well written so I decided to give it a try. I'm always on the lookout for a good "gold" yarn as I have several current projects that use this color. 225 degrees. The color and luster of the filament on the spool looked pretty good, so it was off to the printer. I found that many PLA brands print well at 206-210 degrees and that's where I started. The resulting part had a matte finish, no glitter or glitter, and was not exactly the same color as the thread on the spool. So I tried the whole range of temperatures. I made a total of 8 test prints, starting at 200 degrees and ending at 230 degrees. None of the resulting prints showed a significant difference from the first attempt at 208 degrees shown in the image and changing the print speed. didn't matter either. All were matte/non-glossy and the color was not the same. So it didn't work for me. Not sure why as I can see other reviewers like it. Maybe I have a bad throw, it's hard to say.
