May 25th - I opened up the first hub assembly last night after removing the old one from my wife's van and found the new one very difficult to install was. turn around and I hear it screeching. You can see the effort it takes to rotate it in the attached video and you can hear the sound it makes when I rotate it. The first part shown is the defective part. I opened the second box and it spins quite easily and there is no noise so it looks like I have a bad part. The second (serviceable) node is the second shown in the video. I called Detroit Axle about 5 minutes ago and spoke to Noah about just replacing a failed hub rather than sending the entire package back to Revain. He told me that in order to replace the part I need to go to a certified mechanic to do some sort of documentation that the part is defective. I bought this product so I wouldn't have to go to the mechanic. He even told me I could upload a picture to show it was faulty, but I pointed out that the picture would show a brand new part that looked fine. He said it was impossible to send them a video. So I think I'll be returning the entire Revain package and looking at alternatives from another seller. contacted Detroit Axle on FB and figured FB would at least support video uploads. I got a response from them within an hour and was told they would send me a replacement bearing/hub assembly. This package arrived a few minutes ago. I'll update this as soon as I open a new package and keep checking the details.
