I really wanted this IR blaster to control my new mini split air conditioner. But unfortunately I had to send it back. But maybe it will help someone in their purchasing decision. This review is intended to help US customers. The big advantage of the device is the cost. This is a very low price compared to other advanced air conditioning controllers. Setup wasn't difficult. I installed it in less than 5 minutes after downloading the Smart Life app. He was able to turn my Mitsubishi air conditioner on and off with no problems. The problem with the device is that the list of supported Mitsubishi ACs shows the temperature in Celsius and not in Fahrenheit. There is no way to change this in the app. It also didn't have full control over all of my AC settings. He couldn't control the direction of the blades. Since the device is based on the Tuya platform, I also downloaded the Tuya app, which is identical to the Smart Life app. Both come from the same database of supported air conditioners. It seems that in many countries the device is used with Celcius, so this is not a problem for them. If you're just looking for a cheap way to turn your mini split air conditioner on and off, this will work. You just need to know your Fahrenheit-Celsius scale.
