Amplifier doesn't seem reliable at all. As the title suggests, even at the lowest gain setting, if I crank the stereo volume past mid, the amp goes into protection mode and kills the sound. I have to turn the stereo off and on again for it to work. I had to turn off the base and keep the volume low so it wouldn't cut out. When this occurred I contacted Speece (the seller) for help and was told that it sounded like the amp was going into protection mode and that someone from their support department would get back to me to sort out the issue to solve. Their solution was that I contact Boss Audio support. waste of time! My test of whether a product deserves attention is how well the seller supports their product. In that case, I would have to give him (F) for failure.
