Made of good material

I have two Kicker Comp C 15's for $60.99. I have paid. I'm very glad I bought this 1500w Anarchy amp, nice clean and loud just how I wanted it. Rated at 1200 peaks per unit at 600 RMS, these subwoofers pick up low tones very powerfully and cleanly with no distortion. I recommend this amp if you're looking for serious bass and the bass control is very well done. I could upgrade to 3000 watt anarchy later, but it's definitely enough for now.

It's embarrassingly overrated.

Dyno tested the amp. Rated power: 563 W into 4 ohms. Tested: 109.43 watts into 4 ohms. Rated power: 1125 W into 2 ohms. and power cable with a stable 14.8 VDC power supply. This is the maximum power output at 50Hz. This company's flat and simple reviews are a blatant lie. This amp doesn't even come close to matching the rating. Planet Audi should be ashamed to overrate their amps so much. Essentially <20% of the 563W rating into 4 ohms and an embarrassing <19% into 2 ohms.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Negative impression

First, this is not a 1600w amp. At 2 ohms it's more like 200W RMS. However, with this purchase, I figured that would be the case. I have Kicker 4-door CS Series speakers in my Jeep and it sounds way better than just a 50w head unit. That's all I wanted. Note, however, that this amp is really only for door speakers and you'll be disappointed if you try to use it with a subwoofer. Everything else has been working fine for 2 weeks.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Absolutely worth the money.

Absolutely delighted with this amp. I bought two of these along with two Planet Audio AC12D 1800w subwoofers I bought and am very happy with the result. In other reviews and even on other sites there are a lot of negative reviews about this amp and its power output. I haven't tested the actual current or power output, but this amp works great when paired with a single 12" subwoofer. You can spend twice as much on an amp and get better performance, but not everyone has that kind of cash to throw

I installed this professionally for my wife's Chevy Traverse.

I professionally installed this in my wife's Chevy Traverse. It worked fine for about 3 days and died. Got into protection mode. To fix this, the installer disabled all inputs and outputs, then restarted and after a few seconds went into protection mode. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent it in for warranty repair at my expense. After 3 weeks I got it back. Plugged in, played quietly for 5 minutes and turned off again. Same problem. They won't refund me so I sent it back but had to buy…

Planet Audio is the best choice for people on a budget.

I am not a certified installer but have over 30 years of experience servicing, repairing and installing audio/video electronics. In combination with the Electromechanical Service for Electronics in Naval Aviation, I can be considered an expert in car audio. Audio Planet has a wide range of amplifiers. Having bought a Revain 1200w Anarchy amp a few years ago I want half that power for my Toyota 91 pickup truck which is a small truck cab and I use two sealed 12"'s -Amplifier. This amp does not…

Unit shuts down even when set to lowest gain -- Poor Customer Service

Amplifier doesn't seem reliable at all. As the title suggests, even at the lowest gain setting, if I crank the stereo volume past mid, the amp goes into protection mode and kills the sound. I have to turn the stereo off and on again for it to work. I had to turn off the base and keep the volume low so it wouldn't cut out. When this occurred I contacted Speece (the seller) for help and was told that it sounded like the amp was going into protection mode and that someone from their support…

One star removed because RMS power is too high. But unless you know that bass amps are grossly overpriced in terms of performance, you should look for something higher. I easily run two 12" MTX Terminators rated at 400 RMS and at least 100-200 watts of headroom. This is probably closer to 600 RMS than 1100. I tested it with a multimeter, which seems nobody else wants to do based on the rest of the bad reviews about this amp. Don't listen to anyone who hasn't actually tested the output of this…

This is an AMPle warning!

During the week I read reviews of SEVERAL 5 channel amps because I wanted to avoid running extra power cables. I found this amp to have enough power and acceptable performance so I ordered it. Delivery was on time, packaging undamaged. Before connecting I checked my wiring. After editing and connecting, I launched a test song (Sublime-Caress Me Down). The gain was minimal and I had yet to start voting. Then, 15 seconds before the end, I lost audio from all speakers. I immediately shut the…
