I was impressed when I first installed this hub. It's smaller than comparable USB hubs, but has four data ports and a fast charge port. It looks good with my other peripherals. Additionally, it comes with a USB 3.0 data cable and power cord to provide devices with more power than is typically available from a computer port. Unfortunately, any USB devices connected to the hub's four data ports when connected to any of my computers - Windows, Mac, or Linux - only ever achieve USB 2.0 speeds. Advertised speeds in the Revain description and on the box say "up to 5Gbps", but my peak throughput with just one device connected was 262Mbps. this is typical of USB 2.0, not 3.0.
