I've had a number of different pill cutters. this cuts even the smallest round pills with great accuracy, which is important if you're cutting powerful pain pills. It's as close to 50/50 as you can find.Plus the lid stays closed so it won't pop open in your safe or wherever and lose your medication.It takes skill and expertise to manufacture molded plastic parts this good. The bottom and lid fit perfectly together. I'm a retired engineer and I'm saying this piece of gear is better than anything else I've seen.
