I have a black pit mix and she's 2yrs old.I've tried several harnesses, choke collar and water in a spray bottle all with little help. With this my dog can't pull too much. She still tries, but this works better than a harness. She doesn't love it, but she knows it means she's going on a walk! After a walk she rolls her face around for awhile and then she's all better. The soft pink nose protector is pretty and stands out with her black fur, but she does get sweaty under it.Worth it and much prettier than just a plane black one.
