Prevents pulling – The GoodBoy Head Halter is a comfortable and humane way to prevent your dog from pulling on the leash during walks and other situations that require control. The head halter fits around your dog’s head and nose (similar to a horse’s halter). It is not for use as a muzzle. This prevents choking and reduces your dog’s urge to pull. By using a headcollar like this one, you get maximum steering efficiency. Walking your dog becomes safer and more pleasant for both you and your dog. Comfortable and safe – Unlike other headcollars, the GoodBoy Head Halter is designed with soft neoprene and padded for maximum comfort for your pet. It offers a safety strap that attaches to your dog’s regular collar at the back of the neck - no more dangling safety straps. It has durable nylon straps and strong stitching. Our design features additional reflective stitching to help keep dogs of all sizes safe. Easily adjustable and secure fit – A quick release buckle and adjustable fit make this quality harness a secure solution to unwanted behavior with your pet’s safety in mind. It provides a plastic clip under the chin to easily adjust the loop for the snout. Adjustable side straps (size 1 does not have adjustable side straps) and an adjustable neck strap make for a better and more secure fit. This ensures that the halter does not slide off easily and makes it easy to put on any dog. Choose the right size – To ensure the best fit with our no-pull head halter it’s important to measure the snout and neck circumference at least twice, using the instructions pictured, and choose the smallest result for optimal fit. The sizing chart is in the sixth picture. The halters have adjustable neck straps, side straps and nosebands (size 1 does not have adjustable side straps). The halters do not fit short-snouted breeds like Boxers, Bulldogs and toy dogs like Chihuahuas. Warranty – The 1-year warranty helps to find the best fit for your dog. Great, sturdy, and comfortable, but -1 star for clasp slip

Have been using this for several months on my 70lbs shepherd/lab mix who is an intense puller without a gentle lead on. She jerks really hard if she catches a scent, Ans a gentle lead is the only way to safety control her on a leash (collar chokes her and harnesses pull her hair/cut her skin). This gentle lead is great! Very sturdy and holds up even if she pulls the lead off her mouth since it still keeps her safe by being clasped around the neck (like a collar). This product changed my dog from the devil's spawn to a mostly well-behaved animal!

I have a 3 year old pit bull mix. She is a great family dog who is very playful and energetic. However, whenever we say the word "walk", she goes nuts and starts to bounce all over the house and grabbing her toys and the second she is outside, she turns into the spawn of the devil. Great gentle lead, clip breaks easily though

I love this gentle lead. It helps me be able to control and walk my 3 dogs at the same time. I have been disappointed in the lock clip, it has broken multiple times, especially on my bigger dogs. They have replaced it twice for this issue, and customer service was great, but it just happened again. Ug. Maybe for that size 3 they need to think of a stronger material to use for the clip. I like being able to use the clip especially when visiting new dogs for the first time.

Dog hates it: my feedback

It’s a nice halter. My dog fights me when I put it on. He can’t get used to it and uses his paws to pull it off hicc sac face. Can’t hold a standard poodle.

The clip under chin unsnaps too easy while walking

Over all it is a great design. Easy to use and sturdier then others I have used. The only problem I have had is the clip under chin that you attach the lead to is not very good. It comes unfastened too easy. I will be contacting them to see if I can get a replacement clip. Otherwise very happy with it

It works on my mastiff boxer mix exactly like we hoped.

Maizy is a 120 pound mastiff/boxer, and she pulls us over when walking on the leash when she gets excited. I have a black pit mix and she's 2yrs old.I've tried several harnesses, choke collar and water in a spray bottle all with little help. With this my dog can't pull too much. She still tries, but this works better than a harness. She doesn't love it, but she knows it means she's going on a walk! After a walk she rolls her face around for awhile and then she's all better. Comfortable for our dog

The padding on this head halter has made a big difference to our dog! He doesn't fight having it put on his nose. He still pulls at times, but now it doesn't irritate his mouth. Much better than our former head halter. So glad we made the switch! (Our dog is a German shepherd.)

Better than a Gentle Leader

Edit: bought the right size! It fits so much better, and works better too. Be sure to measure well before buying!
