I have a 3 year old pit bull mix. She is a great family dog who is very playful and energetic. However, whenever we say the word "walk", she goes nuts and starts to bounce all over the house and grabbing her toys and the second she is outside, she turns into the spawn of the devil. Its almost as if she's been kept inside all her life and has never been outdoors before. Every single time we have walked her, she pulls on her leash, lunges at anything with two or four legs, and especially likes to go after bikes and skateboarders. Its gotten so bad, that I've become known as "that guy with that dog that everyone needs to stay away from". We've tried EVERY type of leash and harness combination known to man to fix this. Harnesses that attach the leash on the front, harnesses that attach the leash on the side, so called "training harnesses and collars", and even the Thundershirt. None of these have come close to working. Enter this product. we have been using it for the past few days and while initially my dog tried to pull it off her snout, she has slowly gotten use to it and now walks with it on with no problems. Pulling problems? Gone. Lunging problems? Gone. She still likes to go after the occasional bike or skateboard or even dog/cat she finds on our way, but quickly realizes that she can't go after them anymore and stops. Whats even more amazing is that she actually listens to my commands outside now, sit actually means sit and not "why don't you chase that cat"? Whether this is due to this harnesses or not, Im not sure, but Im amazed nonetheless. Walking has actually become more enjoyable now thanks to this product and its nice to know that I have a well behaved (mostly) dog. Maybe I'll get to be known around the neighborhood as "that guy with that dog who used to be crazy, but now is okay".
