Review on KASTFORCE KF4011 Decking Connectors ）Railing by Will Porter

I used these in a railing system where the balusters were 3/4 inch aluminum tubing. Before installing the brackets, I covered the ends of the rails with sealant. I mounted the brackets upside down. down" so the brackets protect the end of the rail. These handrail brackets were 1/8" thick while others I bought were 1/4" thick. I didn't know that when I bought them. Time will tell if that will be an issue. The screws were a bit lighter and a bit shorter than those with 1/4" mounts, but they seem up to the task. I ended up using heavier, longer screws to attach the brackets to the horizontal rail and other screws to attach the brackets to the rack. The assembled system makes a pretty solid impression.
