I use this mount for my first expensive high end branded smartphone and I feel that it protects my phone completely. It stays firmly anchored even when I ride over bumps in the road. I would have preferred to use a suction cup to avoid blocking the air conditioner vents, but my dash design is slightly curved so we were unable to properly maintain suction. An extra circular adhesive is included for this particular situation, but it seems strong enough that I try different attachment points before deciding on a permanent place to use it. At the moment it is attached to the air nozzle. The unit is very solid and the adjustment features are easy to use, so the phone sits just how I like it whether you hold it vertically or horizontally for passengers to see. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
