With some heavy e-MTBs, my first concern is weight capacity. The first thing I did after assembling this rack was stand on it. Actually, I put my weight (160 pounds) on one of the bars. Not only did the rack not fail, but one rod did not fail, and this is half the total load capacity. The top hood pulls securely and straps are used to secure the wheels, keeping bikes securely attached to this rack. Assembling was relatively easy. Tools are not supplied and I used pliers, a set of allen wrenches and a 11/16 socket + ratchet. The instructions are easy to follow and I had no incidents. Determining the equipment is very simple. Some screws are oven screws, others are standard tightened screws. Just look at the photos and you can't go wrong. Everything fits easily. I mounted a rack on top of the receiver. It made sense for me to push the details up a bit. I would recommend others to do the same. It took me a stress-free hour to assemble the stand and I didn't swear once. This is a record for an assembly project.
