Bought to replace a fluorescent lamp.
Helps keep little chicks warm without the harsh red light. Very good indoors or if you don't want harsh red light coming out of your coop all night and annoying your neighbors. Fits in a standard light bulb socket so it can be used with the setting you already have. NOT recommended for very cold climates as this is only 100 watts (use 250 watt bright red bulbs for this).
