Really works! It definitely looks and feels cheap, but for $40 it does the trick! I was a little confused installing it, but once I figured out what I was actually doing, everything was a breeze! I was kind of hoping it would be easy to remove, but I probably won't remove it from the car unless absolutely necessary. As for mounting my bike it's actually quite easy, the lock for the bottom bar of the bike is a little fiddly/weak but it works and keeps the bike in place. I have a huge 2019 27.5 mountain bike so it barely fits on the rack and I can't secure the front wheel with extra straps. The back is attached but the front is not. It was an easy fix, I just found a long strap that fits for now. While this works well and keeps the bike in place for the most part, I'm a bit paranoid as I once had a kayak fall off the roof of my car while riding. The last thing I want to say is I'm scared of going very fast with it, but so far I've gotten 50-55mph and it's no different than just driving a car without a bike! I've just been doing 80-90 mph on the bike since I went to the bike park at the ski resort. So I say money well spent!
