Increased reception sensitivity is great for long-distance portable wireless devices
If you're reading this, you must like Ubiquiti products, or you've heard that when they work, they work very well. The AC Long Range range is more reliable than the newer NanoHDs. Different use cases of course, but I have to say that the AC Long Range hardware and firmware seems to be a lot more reliable than anything else they have.
