The controller is pretty easy to use

No complaints from users after deployment. The controller is quite easy to use. Faced with an error where they stopped accepting new devices after 48 hours of work. To fix this I wrote a reload script to be run by the controller. The performance is stable. The CEO can use all of his Apple devices without swearing.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Very fast and reliable!

Outstanding hotspots. Easy to manage and never freeze. I connected them to a Ubiquity ToughSwitch 8 which powers them over the same UTP cable.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • Style 90

Only works depending on the date of manufacture.

Please note that you may receive a batch that works perfectly with standard Ubiquiti POE injectors, or you may receive a batch that was made before 9/2017 and only work with the strange proprietary injectors from Ubiquiti works. . The price difference is $6 for Standard and $20 for Alt. Unfortunately, we got a batch from June 2016, so they must have been on someone's shelf for a year. WTF! We have ordered this product before and it has worked well. We will refund them unless otherwise stated…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So-so

Where are the PoE injectors?

The devices themselves are excellent, they work well. This is the first Ubiquiti product I've bought without PoE injectors! Single packs and triple packs contain them, but not five. Now I have to buy injectors.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • There are defects

Excellent signal strength, disappointing speeds.

These access points have high signal strength and can cover large areas. I love being able to manage and control devices with a cloud controller. In my testing in an open storage room with sparsely stocked shelves, the connection speed was very slow; even stand next to the device. The nice thing is that the speed didn't start to drop until I was about 75 feet away. The maximum throughput I could get with just one device connected was less than 10Mbps.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Clarity

If you're reading this, you must like Ubiquiti products, or you've heard that when they work, they work very well. The AC Long Range range is more reliable than the newer NanoHDs. Different use cases of course, but I have to say that the AC Long Range hardware and firmware seems to be a lot more reliable than anything else they have.

Pros
  • Beautiful looks
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
