We tested this bike rack with two bikes while we were in town a few miles from where we picked up our bikes. Everything seemed fine until we loaded up the third bike, the kids bike, and headed out of town for a family vacation. It was tight but I was able to fit three bikes with extra time and effort. Not perfect. Four freeway stops and a few buckets of sweat later, we ended up at a hardware store trying to figure out how to keep the damn bike racks from slipping off the racks. ! Well it's a joke! I had all the necessary adjustment tools with me and kept tightening the bolts but they never fully tightened and eventually some of them ripped off completely. This is utter rubbish and a serious public safety issue. I will report this Revain bike rack and recommend removing this product immediately. It's poorly constructed, there's nothing to stop the bike racks from sliding off the rails - an absolutely IMPORTANT feature in a bike rack. This stand will be an extreme burden for you, as well as a dangerous threat to you, your loved ones and all other road users. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If necessary, pay more and get a frame with matching sliding caps.
