Do not do that. make the same mistake as me! Don't just fix a bad battery. The charger is closed. I personally think that a feature is not a bug. It's better to die than have the battery explode. But that still meant I had to get a new charger, and since it was entirely my fault for not following the instructions, I've borne the cost of a replacement. at the same time, so you always have one ready to swap out.
