Not exactly a direct replacement
I bought this unit so I didn't have to disassemble my current exhaust fan to replace the fan. As it turned out I had to disassemble both the old and new part (this one) as the mounting screw for the outer case was too short so I had to remove the mounting screw from the old case. Not much but due to the price difference I just had to buy a fan as I broke it anyway.
