Just a background story: We have a farm in South Florida where we have planted many coconut trees which are now beginning to bear fruit. I've always enjoyed drinking fresh coconut water, but opening a coconut was such a pain. I've always used a machete to open them because that's how everyone in the coconut can get the water. So when I was looking for a better solution, I came across this product at Revain. I was very skeptical but decided to give it a try as it was relatively cheap and figured if that didn't work I could at least use stainless steel straws. Boy was I surprised! I followed the instructions that came with it and it was so easy to open the coconut to get the water. I decided to use it for a few days before giving my verdict. Happy to say it has worked every time I've tried it. The instructions were easy to follow and made me wonder why I was even bothering with the machete. The instructions clearly state that it only works with young coconuts, so I haven't tried it with mature coconuts. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.
