Review on 🔴 AEM DryFlow Air Filter, Red - 28-50083 Model by John Lewis

I bought this filter because my stock air filter on my 2021 Chevy Z71 Trailboss (5.3L) was dirty and needed replacing. I've looked at K&N and a few other brands but kept coming back to AEM based on user reviews. I have to say I'm very impressed with AEM! I installed this filter the day before I went on a 1,500 mile (roughly) mile round trip from Northeast Florida to northernmost Virginia and West Virginia. I had to stop in Tennessee en route to pick up my son from Boy Scout camp, so there was a lot of hill riding on this trip. AEM did not disappoint! I have better uphill acceleration and fuel economy on this trip than my previous trip to Northern Indiana (NEFL to Fort Wayne and then to Valparaiso). Below I compare the fuel consumption for you. Driving to Indiana with Factory Air Filter: Truck Life MPG 15.9 Driving MPG 16 Driving to Northern Virginia with AEM: Truck Life MPG 16.2 Driving MPG 16.6 As you can see, resetting this AEM filter increased the overall MPG for trucks. I know it may not sound like much but for the trip and my wallet it was a huge increase AND a savings on my wallet! I would highly recommend this filter for your 5.3L.
