I would buy this again.

I've had the stroller for a few months now and will definitely buy it again. I think it was worth it. I bought a stroller for my 14 year old girl with arthritis who weighs 70 pounds. I was afraid it wouldn't fit, but it does. Sometimes her head or tail sticks out when she's not lying on her side. Since the wings open, you don't have to worry about some details sticking out. It was relatively easy to emerge into what it should be. My husband freaked out about this project when I told him what I had bought. But I was able to do most of it myself just moving parts around, it was mostly self-explanatory and made sense without looking in any directions. By the way, I'm not very mechanical. The husband helped in the end and it didn't take long. They give you the tools you need to build. Pros: The stroller feels safe, the wheels move very easily, and I can push it with my dog on level ground with one finger. It wants to roll. Maneuvering through corners is fairly easy thanks to the swiveling front wheel. You can zip up the windows or zip them up and get them out of the way. My girlfriend was scared of it at first but now she seems to really like it. I was afraid to buy it because I was afraid she wouldn't want to sit in it. But after her sister/partner died, I wanted to spend productive time with her. She has always loved to run, but her arthritis means she cannot walk far. And it is difficult for her to walk at night even if she has taken a short walk during the day. The edge of the fabric is about 13 1/2 inches from the floor. Of course you can pull down the edge of the fabric, but there's a square piece of metal in the middle of the entrance (so you can attach the bike mount, I assume). The metal sits roughly in the center of the entrance and is about 3 inches high. So it's only a small hurdle when you're dealing with a fat old dog with arthritis (I say affectionately, mind you) trying to get in. It has a small plastic handle so I'm not afraid it will hurt itself, but that's a small obstacle. Because my dog is heavy and has arthritis he doesn't walk much so his claws are growing back. We take her to the vet to have her trimmed, but the little veins are so deep in the nail that they can't be trimmed. So I don't know if it's a combination of her nails and arthritis, but she is careful when walking and even avoids slippery surfaces like linoleum and tile. I usually hang 1-2 dog beds in front of the opening so she can step onto the bed and take a step to get into the stroller. The base of the stroller is not very strong, it has a plastic base, but the plastic is not thick, so it flexes a little. There's a metal bar under the stroller's base that can be used for a bike, and with a dog's weight and not plastic, the base doesn't seem to sit flat. And with her long fingernails and dislike of slipping, she seems to have found it a bit difficult to settle in at first. But after putting another blanket on the base (I can get a piece of hard carpet) it works better. In terms of safety hazard, my girlfriend weighs 70 pounds. I hold the handle as she sits down and spreads her weight. If her butt is on the edge of the hole and she puts all her weight on her back, yes, she'll fall over backwards. But it only does this when getting in and out. Honestly, I don't want them kicking the bikes further back because I don't want to kick them while walking. And she's just uncomfortable sitting in that opening, she wants to move on, and that's okay. I parked it in my den and one day I came home and saw it tipping over like she was trying to get in when I wasn't there but because I wasn't holding it it tipped over like that (maybe it didn't just a tip for themselves). But he's light and there's a lot of weight ahead of him, so I'm sure he didn't fall with a lot of force. I didn't see any damage to my dog and he wasn't afraid of our next walk. I was actually glad that it looked like she wanted to come in instead of feeling like she was just making fun of me when I could tell her to come in. The stroller worked better than expected and allowed me to spend more time with my dog doing something that I believe makes her life better. Some crazy comments from passers-by (and my husband) lol. I would buy this again. If some sort of ramp was put up for sale with it I would probably buy it to make it easier for a dog of her size and health to get in and out.
