Review on 9" General Purpose Diamond Saw Blades For Concrete And Brick, 7/8"-5/8" Arbor by James Hardy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Awesome blade for my opinion

Finally started the job I ordered this blade for, I have used one company's blade for over 10 years they are great blades but expensive, over $250.00 each with shipping. But they cut well and last a long time. I bought a 3rd saw for this big job, we just did, to have a 3rd saw cutting I ordered this blade for a cheap back up blade incase one of my expensive blade crapped out in the middle of a shift, which one did of course. So I put this blade on and wow it almost doubled the cutting speed Especially when you hit rebar. I used this blade for the rest of the job cutting 20 pits out, and still using it, its a bit worn out and don't last as long as my expensive blades but I can buy 5 of these for the same price. And it cuts twice as fast as my expensive blades, eats rebar in the concrete for breakfast. It's a no Brainerd. Just order more for all my saws. This will be my go to blade for now on. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • its a good quality for the cost, the blade didnt bend while cutting concrete at full depth on one pass.
Cons
  • While effective for general purpose usage, the diamond material of these saw blades may not stand up to more extreme usage or prolonged exposure to tougher materials, ultimately reducing the lifespan and overall durability of the product
